Happy July, everyone! Kidstock is closing . . for a week for vacation! Please see the box below regarding sale of the store.
Now that summer is in full swing, we hope that you are making time to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We also hope you have time to come shopping this month! Aside from bathing suits and shorts, we always have long sleeves and light jackets -- and we need that for our cool nights in Southern California. Please note that we are closed next week, but we will be back in action on July 11.

Kidstock's Big News!
Think you can do Kidstock better than we can? We KNOW you can! Kidstock is officially for sale and we are ready for the right person/people to come into our lives and take it to the next level. We've loved building this business, but it's time for us to find other challenges.
If you've always wanted your own business and think you could push this one to greater heights, we want to talk to you.
If you are a current customer, please know that we take seriously our responsibility as owners -- we have no intention of shutting the doors without notice. Our goal is to transition the store by this summer. We will keep you posted about this news as we move forward.

Reminders
* We do not accept drop-offs during July and August. We use this time to update and organize our existing inventory. Rest assured that we are hanging new (to you!) items every day from our backlog so you will still find amazing, fun, and interesting items on the racks every week. We will still accept toys and small furniture, if you want to bring those items in.
* Shopping without kids? Bring pants that currently fit so as to more accurately measure waist/length.
* Patootie Cakes are still available in the store. Don't forget that you can grab and go with these already wrapped diaper cakes -- perfect for a new baby hospital visit or as a shower gift. These come from an outside vendor, so store credit may not be used for your purchase. Find what you want or special order at www.patootiecakes.com, then pick up in the store to save on shipping/handling costs.
* Kidstock will be closed Monday, July 4 through Saturday, July 9. Wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday weekend! We look forward to seeing you in the middle of July.

Items Needed:
Tray or dish with baking soda
Vinegar
Food coloring
Droppers or straws or even spoons
Prepare a dish of any size with baking soda in the bottom. Mix vinegar with food coloring -- as many colors as you want -- and put the colors on to the baking soda with the droppers, straws, or spoon. The colors will fizz and bubble. Try mixing colors on the baking soda.
