December has arrived! As we get older and the year speeds past us, we look at our kids and wonder where the time goes. How many of you have started shopping up a size or two for your kids during the course of this year? Amazing, isn't it?

Reminders
* We are accepting bags. Please remember that we do not accept stained or torn items. If you wouldn't buy it in its current condition, we probably won't take it! Don't forget that we accept small furniture items as well -- high chairs, Pac n' Plays, boosters, toy chests, etc.
* Our clearance rack has moved to the parking lot for the time being. Please look for it out there!
* Don't forget that Kidstock carries cleats. If you need them for soccer, baseball, or football, check with us first before you pay retail.
* Are you a "Modern Family" fan? Look for Kidstock to be in a background shot sometime in the next few weeks. Sofia Vergara stood right in front of Kidstock and shouted "Taxi!"
* Holiday schedule: Kidstock will be closed Monday, December 26. On Saturday, December 24, and Saturday, December 31 we will be open in the morning and closing early in the afternoon. |

Messy Art Project:
Microwave puff-painting
Make paint that 'puffs up' when cooked in the microwave!
Materials:
- 1 tablespoon self-raising flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- few drops food colouring
Mix the ingredients together using enough water to make a smooth paste. Make 3 to 4 different colours - empty yogurt containers are handy for this.
Paint on to thick paper or cardboard, then microwave on high for about 10 seconds or until the paint is dry.
