Happy October, everyone! We've got a good mix of long sleeves and shorts on our racks, so come shop for the weather. We are also getting those winter dresses up for those of you who take holiday pictures in October. We are trying to get our ski bibs out on the racks, but it's hard to make that happen when it's 90 degrees outside! We look forward to seeing you soon! |
Dress Up Days
We have LOTS of costumes at Kidstock, and they are always available. While we sell most of our costumes during October and March, we know that kids play dress up all the time, and therefore need lots of creative accessories at hand. Don't forget to check out our bucket of gloves. masks, and random pretend items -- you never know what will spark that element of play for your child.

Reminders
* Drop-offs -- Please limit yourself to two market bags or one trash bag. Please weed out stained and ripped items so we have more time to get to everyone's items. And overstuffing bags makes it difficult for all of us, so please pack your bags appropriately. * Dead batteries can still be dangerous ... to the environment. Please dispose of old batteries responsibly. There are many e-cycle drop off centers in our city or you may always put them in Kidstock's dead battery bucket. * Patootie Cakes are still available in the store. Don't forget that you can grab and go with these already wrapped diaper cakes -- perfect for a new baby hospital visit or as a shower gift. These come from an outside vendor, so store credit may not be used for your purchase. If you place an order on the Patootie Cakes website, www.patootiecakes.com, you may pick up in the store during the week, saving shipping costs. |

Messy Art Project:
Balloon Balls 
Items Needed:
Small balloons
white glue
colored yarn
Cover your work space!!! Blow up balloons and knot. Drop yarn in glue and wrap around balloons in varying patterns. Mix and match colors and thickness of yarn. Hang to dry. Make sure space under balloons is well protected as glue will continue to drip.
When dry, pop balloon and gently remove.
